Sage Northcutt Got Knocked The Heck Out In Singapore This Morning
ONE Championship, Asia’s #1 mixed martial arts promotion, and definitely not a “minor league” in any way, shape, or form…
…made three real, key, massive signings in the past year.
Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson, arguably the greatest of all time, who made a successful debut at the end of March…
Eddie Alvarez, a former world champion and one of the best lightweights in the world, who’s debut didn’t quite go the way anybody envisioned…
…and “Super” Sage Northcutt, everybody’s favorite karate specialist, who made his debut in Singapore this morning.
Unfortunately for Sage, his ONE Championship debut went the way of Eddie Alvarez’s, not Mighty Mouse’s, when he was absolutely SHUT DOWN by a devastating right hand just twenty nine seconds into the bout. Northcutt’s opponent – Cosmo Alexandre – shouldn’t have been so slept on leading up to this fight, either, as he was probably the toughest matchup young Sage has ever had in his short career, is much bigger than Sage, holds a 69-19 professional kickboxing record, and is now 8-1 professionally in mixed martial arts.
